Getting there and parking

Global Village is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), Dubai, in Dubailand. Most visitors drive or take a taxi; allow extra time on weekend evenings when traffic builds. Free parking is in P1, P3 and P5, around 400–450 m from the Gate of the World, with overflow car parks and a free shuttle on busy days, and paid parking closer to the gate.

Where to stay for Global Village

For a longer Dubai trip: stay in Downtown Dubai or Dubai Marina and make Global Village one evening, by taxi. You get far more choice of hotels and apartments, and the rest of the city on your doorstep.

For several visits or a theme-park trip: stay nearer Dubailand to cut the drive, especially if you are also going to IMG Worlds of Adventure, which is also in the Dubailand area.
