The accommodation decision
WHX is no longer a single-venue accommodation decision. Labs and several specialist experiences sit at DWTC, while DEC hosts the wider exhibition and several clinical stages. Both locations include medical equipment and devices, so the broad sector name alone is not enough: identify each exhibitor’s venue and your booked sessions before committing to a hotel.
Labs, DWTC specialist zones and WHX Tech plans
Use the central exhibition district when most of your appointments or sessions are at DWTC. One Central keeps the venue district central to the stay; DIFC adds a business-dining base. DEC appointments still require a separate cross-city journey.

Marina and JLT offer existing DubaiStays inventory in southern Dubai, with Red Line connections toward Expo 2020. They still involve a commute and an onward hall route. Compare the station-to-property connection; a Marina waterfront apartment is not automatically convenient for the Metro.

World Trade Centre Metro serves DWTC; Expo 2020 serves the Expo City end of the Red Line for DEC. Check the train destination, operating hours and the final route to your hall. The two venues are separate city destinations, not adjoining halls: avoid scheduling consecutive appointments at different venues without a realistic transfer buffer.
For procurement teams covering both sites, group meetings into venue blocks and choose the hotel around the site that needs the earliest starts or most days. A single base avoids a midweek hotel move. Splitting the stay only makes sense if your schedule forms distinct blocks and luggage, checkout and check-in will not consume valuable meeting time.
For the full core programme, consider arrival on 24 January and departure on 29 January. Conference access, any linked programme and your exhibitor setup instructions may change those room nights; verify them individually. Keep a list of each session’s venue with your badge rather than relying on the former Arab Health location.
After choosing a base, arrange airport arrival, baggage storage and your first venue transfer together. If flying out after the final day, leave space for the journey from your actual finishing venue, hotel luggage collection and airline check-in.
